I noticed that there are a few good deals when you combine sales and coupons for a few items at both K-Mart and Target.
K-Mart has the new Purex 3-in-1 laundry sheets on sale for $10/2. Doesn't seem like such a good deal since they each only contain 20 to 24 sheets. BUT, in the RedPlum insert this past Sunday, the back page has a B1G1Free coupon for any Purex Laundry Detergent or Complete 3-in-1 Laundry Sheets! That means that you'll get 2 for $5 at K-Mart this week. Now that's a pretty sweet deal! I haven't tried these yet - have you? Let me know if you have and what you thought.
K-Mart also has 12 ct. boxes of Kellogg's Pop-Tarts on sale for $2 each. That's what 8 usually cost at the Kroger in my area. Kroger sent out some coupons not long ago (sorry - I can't remember when it was) and there was a $1/2 coupon for any Pop-Tarts. So you'd get 24 Pop-Tarts for $3. Not a bad deal, either!
The deals that I thought were pretty good at Target this week were on diapers and toilet paper. I'll start with diapers.
The really huge pack of Huggies is $29.99. Target doesn't usually send out coupon mailers, but they do sometimes. They sent one a few weeks back with several diaper coupons (maybe you have to have registered for Baby items with them within the past few years to get these - I'm not sure). But the coupons they send are not manufacturer's coupons - they're Target coupons. So you can stack them with other coupons. And Huggies consistently sends out diaper coupons in the mail. If you have the $1.50 off any Huggies Target coupon and a $1 off Huggies manufacturer's coupon, you'll save $2.50 off the $29.99. For the size 4 diapers, you'll spend $.21 per diaper. That's a pretty good price! I usually spend at least $.24 per diaper even with the best sales.
And Target also has the Charmin Basic 36 double-roll mega-huge pack on sale for $14.99. In the RedPlum insert this week there was a $1 off Target coupon for Charmin toilet paper. There was also a $.25 off coupon in the 2-7-10 PG insert. So you'll pay $13.76 for 36 double rolls of toilet paper. That's $.38 per double-roll, which is supposedly as big as 2 rolls. If you need some TP, now might be the time to grab that from Target!
