March Monthly Menu

It's time to make a monthly menu for March.  Boy, does a month go by quickly!  It seems like I just made the menu for February!  I'm trying to do a bit of a pantry challenge this month.  I have a lot of canned goods, and we're trying to use them up.  I'm planning on using a big jar of spaghetti sauce for my pizzas instead of buying pizza sauce.  Has anyone ever tried that before?  Any pointers or suggestions (or horror stories) that I should know about before attempting that one?  I had to do my Krogering early this week and I went yesterday.  I'll post my list in case you want to replicate.  I'll also post the recipes for the Crock Pot Gumbo and the Black Beans and Rice.  They're both new recipes to me, so I can't vouch for them!  We're all guinea pigs!  :)

  1. I substitute spaghetti sauce for pizza sauce all the time, in fact, I prefer it.

  2. Thanks, Kim! I didn't know if anyone even saw that question buried in the middle of my post! I was going to try it and just see what happened. I'm definitely more confident now, though! :)
