Possible GREAT Deal on Toy Story Movies!!

My friend, Betsy, gave me a great tip on Toy Story Movies and I want to share it with everyone!

The website disneymovierewards.com is running a promotion for people who have Toy Story or Toy Story 2 (or both) on VHS or DVD.  If you have the movie in that format, you can enter the UPC from the back of the package and get a $10 off coupon for a new Blu-Ray Combo Pack!!  There is no language on the website that says you can only get one $10 coupon, so I'm assuming that you can get two coupons if you have both movies in the older format!!  The website is also offering a deal where you can enter a Magic Code, which is found in the new Blu-Ray Combo Pack of each movie, which will allow you to get a FREE ticket to see Toy Story 3 in the theater!!!

Target is also running a deal this week on the Combo Packs.  You will save $10 instantly when you purchase both Combo Packs in the same transaction!  So here's what the deal looks like in the best case scenario (you have both movies in the old format and Disney lets you print 2 $10 off coupons):

Toy Story Blu-Ray Combo Pack, $22.99
Toy Story 2 Blu-Ray Combo Pack, $22.99
-$10 off instantly for purchasing both combo packs
-$10 coupon for Toy Story on VHS/DVD
-$10 coupon for Toy Story 2 on VHS/DVD
Final Price, $15.98 for 2 Blu-Ray Combo Packs!!!
*Bonus: Enter the Magic Code from both movies to get two free theater tickets for Toy Story 3 (valued at up to $8.50 in the US)!!!

Thanks, Betsy!!!

  1. Do you know if anyone in Jackson has price matched these movies at Target using the Toys R Us ad? I have seen this mentioned on other blogs.

  2. I don't know if anyone has done it - Target price matches, so I don't know why they wouldn't match it! That brings the price down an additional $2!! Awesome! Thanks for the tip! I'm just hoping they still have some when I go in a few minutes!

  3. FYI. I tried the Toy Story deal at Target. I bought both DVD/Blu-rays, price matched with Toys R Us, used both $10 coupons and the register automatically took off $10 for buying both in one transaction. So I spent $11.98 with taxes for both combo packs. Should have been less because the customer service rep price matched one movie at $21.99 and the other at $16.99 instead of both at $16.99. Still think I got a good deal!!!

  4. That's great! I didn't ask them to match the $16.99 price because that was basically the same deal that Target was offering ($10 off when you buy both), but I paid $13.98 (before taxes) for both of them, and I was pretty happy with that! If you include the movie tickets to Toy Story 3 (you'll get two with the Magic Codes inside each movie) then they basically paid you to buy and watch the movies before going to the theater to see the third one!! Nice!!
